But we are getting a follow-up of sorts this weekend, thanks to host Joel Dommett.

As part of his ITV2 series Home Alone with Joel Dommett, the comedian has brought back judges Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall to try and guess three new mystery singers.

The clips of unknown celebrities are pre-recorded with filters put over the top, so the judges don’t have to worry about critiquing poor singing and offending the stars’ egos, something Jonathan is very excited about.

So far we know the first masked singer is hiding behind a teddy bear face. Any wild guesses before you hear them sing?

Answers on a postcard please, although we guess a tweet works too. Just don’t try and guess Charli XCX like Rita Ora did for every singer.

Speaking of Rita Ora, she recently teased the possibility of a second series of The Masked Singer UK, although she cut herself off before she could reveal any really juicy info about it.

After the success of the first series, we’d say a second run is all but inevitable, but ITV hasn’t actually made any official announcements at the time of writing.

Home Alone With Joel Dommett continues tomorrow (Sunday, April 26) at 10pm on ITV2. The Masked Singer UK aired on ITV, while the US version airs on Fox in the States.
